This is not a competition because vegans are not 100% perfect!!! But let's get some perspective, and keep in mind the original philosophy of Veganism, https://tinyurl.com/zfmfmuh
So I got told that as a vegan I kill more animals in the plants I eat, than an average meat eater. Sure, there is accidental, not intended animals that may get killed in the process. But, this is actually less than the average meat eater. Average UK Meat-Eater Eats bits of land animals daily. Those animals are likely fed on tonnes and tonnes of feed. They eat fish. Which generally have by-catch. Plus they eat plants with their meals too. Buys clothing that is made from bits of animals. Using toiletries and products that have been tested on animals or have animal ingredients. Average UK Vegan. Eats plants.

My friend Rob is a busy and altruistic human. :). I met him at a Vegfest many years ago. He and others had just cycled 60 miles and finished at Bristol Vegfest, all to raise funds for Animal Aid. I then got to know him at other festivals where he was speaking and eventually I now volunteer at Exeter Vegan Market with him, again Rob is one member of the great altruistic group who arrange the regular events. One of the many awesome groups he works with is The Vegan Approach, who are making veganism easy, accessible, fun, shows people practical steps to take, and offers support to them on their journeys. The latest video from this amazing group is really well made and a really helpful tool to help others make the transition. The Vegan Approach site has a break down of each of the steps, and gives us a little bit more information for us to digest. Please check out the amazing video, awesome website and share them around, especially to those that will find it most helpful.
