So Laura Kline is a Marathoner, Duathlete and Triathlete from the USA. Her achievements list is very big, but standout results are 2012 DUATHLON SHORT COURSE WORLD CHAMPION, and more recently 2014 DUATHLON LONG COURSE NATIONAL CHAMPION (USA). As well as her own great website she has a great in depth blog about her training, build-ups and competitions, which includes alot more about her becoming the DUATHLON LONG COURSE NATIONAL CHAMPION.
I have been planning to do an interview with her for a while, so watch this space for more about Laura Kline.

I've had this photo for a few years and each time I see it, it is a reminder of human inflicted suffering. It makes me wonder what animals, and in this case the labelled - 'UK 383547 600417' young calf, if they had the chance would say to us humans? Would it be 'thanks for enslaving me and my family forever, and ending our lives early. I feel true happiness knowing that your cup of tea is the way you like it, and I, the intended recipient don't get to drink my own mothers milk.' Or would they say something else? Please leave a comment of what you personal feel they would say.
This looks like an insightful and revealing documentary, I'm looking forward to it!! I spotted Dr. Will Tuttle (World Peace Diet) & Howard Lyman (Mad cowboy) in there so already its going to be powerful!!
Check it out !!
So I found out about Rich Roll through a stranger suggesting to read his inspiring book 'Finding Ultra'. He is a former meat-eater and alcoholic who decided to become a Plant-based Ultra Marathon Athlete at the age of 39 (as you do). The book is fascinating!! So now he has been starting up his podcasts by chatting with other vegan athletes, vegan doctors, meditators and much more!!! Oh and alot of them are free to download, so if you want something to listen to, say for a commute, long journey, bike ride, on a run or wherever works for you download what you like from here,
This morning the sun came out, and it feels like its going to be one of those glorious sun filled days. I decided to eat my breakfast outside, and today it was a tasty ripe Papaya with just a squeeze of lemon juice on top, my friend had suggested lime, but I was unable to get one first. BAM - Papaya tastes so good!!!
Note - Im not a fan of eating the seeds, but some people are, and even put them in smoothies.
Up until 12 months ago I had never tried a custard peach, but OH MY, they are tasty!! If you have never had one try it, they are such a unique taste sensation. The example below were slightly bruised, but were still really good!!
So there I was heading to meet a friend one evening. I was just going along with life. The road near theirs is a bit dodgy to cross so I waited to cross on the pedestrian pavement, picture below. Then out of know where a red bus drove onto the pavement and nearly hit me. This shit me up!! I was in a bit of shock for a while after, I kept thinking, 'FUCK that was close!!!"
Gradually I recalled all the close calls I have previously had with death, and realised 'the fragility of life!!'
I now see this experience as a positive thing, because it puts things into perspective, and makes me appreciate the small things in life so much more! Everything that happens from that day forward is a blessing. It also highlights how fragile animals lives are too, and how quickly humans end their lives unnecessarily.
That bus has also inspired me to send a message to people to "Go for it". By this if there is something you really would like to do, or say then "Go for it", as our lives can be taken away in the time it takes a bus to drive past. The condition of this message is that it does not cause harm or suffering to another being.
So "GO FOR IT"!!
*Note - I'm in the middle of making a short video about that day and the bus, so watch this space for a fresh video.
Below is a fascinating documentary that analyses what a corporation is, and what a modern corporation entails. What I find interesting about it is that it covers human rights and environmental issues. It is 2 1/2 hours long, so prepare yourself for alot of information, I had a break for food. But it is totally worth watching as it is full of insights!!
