So, January is round the corner. What a great time to try something else. What about eating less animals or not eating any at all? For those of you that care about your pets, whether dog, cat or horse, you understand that they are individuals and you take care of them, and want to see them happy. Why not extend that to all animals and stop eating them and their secretions? I do not believe there is a ‘happy’ slaughterhouse out there.
This isn’t me pointing fingers, just telling the truth as I used to love some and eat others; basically I was biased to ‘MY’ pets.
There are many reasons to stop eating animals and we as humans in the ‘developed’ world have a choice to eat plants instead. There is a really useful website for those wanting to try vegan in January, https://veganuary.com/
Or if your not ready for that there are other stepping stones,
Chickatarian/Steakatarian/Pescatarian – Only eat one type of meat, i.e. fish
Vegetarian – Eat no animal flesh, but do eat dairy and eggs
Flexatarian - Mostly vegetarian, occasional meat meal
Please don’t be like I used to,
Lazytarian – Feel its wrong to kill and abuse animals, but too lazy to change
If I can help in any way, let me know.
